San Antonio FHA Appraisals will be subject to the new FHA imposed Appraiser Independence regime. Appraiser independence is defined by HUD as:

1. An unbiased appraiser without conflict of interest.

2. An appraiser with knowledge and experience in the appraising the property type in the market area and has access to all local data sources (ie. Board of Realtors, Multiple Listing Service, etc.)

3. An FHA-Roster appraiser who is engaged by a noncommissioned employee or loan officer.

Good News! Hendricks Appraisal Services complies with all of their requirements, so you do not have to change a thing. Its not so bad after all. All you have to do is follow this simple step:

1. Have a noncommissioned staff member (receptionist, mailman, friend, spouse, etc.) fax the order or order online or email the order or call in the order for a San Antonio and surrounding area appraisal request to Hendricks Appraisal Services.
